Simply the Best Academy

Goal Keeper Academy – The Brampton Youth Soccer Club is pleased to announce that “Simply the Best” Soccer Academy will be facilitating a Goal Keeper program for players ages 8-12 and 13-17.

The Goal Keeper Academy has been implemented to provide our future Goal Keepers with the correct techniques and skills to play the position. The program is split into a Junior and Senior Academy. The Junior Academy is tailored to players aged 8 -12 and concentrates on the fundamentals of Goal Keeping. Our junior program is an introduction for goalkeepers to have fun and learn the fundamentals of the position while teaching ways of staying safe while playing the position. High repetition of technique is enforced.

The Senior Academy is tailored to GK’s ages 13-17. This program is designed for the competitive Goalkeeper. Technique, Tactics, Decision Making and some fitness work is implemented into the sessions. An emphasis on handling the pass back, distribution, shot stopping, angles, high balls will be worked on by our Technical Staff.

All Players are reminded to bring with them a soccer ball, shin pads, appropriate footwear and their own water bottle.
